I cannot even remember the journal entry number for this one. Some days, I forget what it felt like to live without fear.
The air feels heavier now. Every place that used to feel like home is just another ruin. Every person you meet is a question you don’t always want answered.
It’s not just the Infected you have to watch for — it’s hunger, broken weapons, bad choices. One mistake, and that’s it.
I don’t know if surviving means we’re strong… or if it just means we’re too stubborn to quit.
Either way, I’m still here. For now.
