Christmas is HERE!! In October already?? Oh ooh, Santa has done it again.
Did you notice that every year, Christmas seems to creep a little closer? Decorations go up earlier. Carols start before the pumpkins have even gone cold.
The extremely manipulative Jack o’ Lanterns have had enough! Fearing their holiday will be forgotten, they’ve allied with other holiday mascots: The Headless Horseman, Cupid, the snowmen, and even the Easter Bunny – a betrayal which stings more than most.
Together they stormed the North Pole, slaughtered the elves, and kidnapped Santa himself. If he doesn’t make his yearly journey, Christmas will fade.
Now, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Mrs. Claus gather whoever they can to rescue Santa. It’s up to you to save Christmas!

Era: Crueltide is a festive TTRPG that’s all about having a bit of fun. The whole rulebook is plastered with terrible puns I’ll sleigh for the book. Even the character sheets are decked out with Christmas baubles and Elf on the Shelf (who are all evil).
Players can be literally anyone or anything empowered by Christmas magic. So far we’ve had: The Snow Queen, A narcissistic Jack o’ Lantern carried around by others, A foul-mouthed North Pole elf with candy-cane nunchucks…
Weapons and items are equally ridiculous. Sharpened candy canes. A Christmas tree – the most powerful weapon. But you can also whack someone with a sack of coals, if you must. Oh, and the best armor? An Ugly Christmas jumper, of course!
