While everyone on Gaia lives in desperate fear from Infected, there is still a place where people don’t look over their shoulders… quite as much. Meet the Citizens of Aqua; inhabitants of Gaia’s only established ocean settlement.
To escape the dangers of living on land, the forefathers of Aqua joined their ocean vessels to create a floating city free from Infected. But, before you start packing your bags, there is something you should know. The ocean has its own share of dark creatures and unpredictable nature that threaten this safe harbor, as well as some very serious realities of living in a closed community. Population control and a strict adherence to rules are a grim fact of life on Aqua. There’s plenty more to know about these complex people but you’ll have to wait for the book so that you can judge for yourself whether their sacrifice is worth the price for safety in a world gone to hell.
