Hi everyone!
It’s been a really busy week over here.
The Marked For Death Kickstarter reached a successful conclusion, just short of the $1000 stretch goal. Never mind, Sanchit and I are finishing up the edits on the book and we expect to deliver ahead of schedule! Sanchit is also talking about what more he wants to do, so keep your eyes peeled for more on Marked For Death!
I’m working on Empowered Character sheets today, for the campaign that will come with the Primers at MCM Comicon. It’s quite hard work, I need to fill out each sheet for 7 characters, along with backstory info and descriptions of their powers! Each one is getting time and effort to make sure it looks great!
I’ve also been writing campaign stories – I have it planned out for around 9 or 10 sessions now… though we’ll only be offering 3 at this time, I expect people will want more before long!
The artwork for Empowered is coming along great and I think we should be finished pretty soon now! Not quite ready to give you a date yet, I’m afraid, but I don’t think it’ll be long at all.
Lyres Proofs have arrived yesterday and today and they are looking good! I’ve signed off both the paperback and the hardbacks for the UK so you can expect them to be printed soon and shipped as soon as they get to me!
Era: The Consortium’s Shade expansion took a bit of a hit, we’re changing the artist who’s doing the cover. It’s not a big deal, but it might delay it just a little. I’ll get back to you on the details of what you can expect to see soon.
We’ve finally named our “Survival Horror” game, the one that the Oracle’s been mentioning: we’re going to call it Era: Survival. I know what you’re thinking – it’s not very innovative – but we looked at over a hundred other options and none of them quite hit the mark for what we wanted for this game. So, expect more new on Era: Survival before long!
