We’ve barely caught our breath from the successful finish of Era: Survival’s Kickstarter and it’s off to the next project already! This year is going to be one fast paced race between more new games, expansions, conventions, and who knows what else Ed has cooked up for us. It’s going to be a wild ride and I hope you’ll stick with us while we bust out just as much fabulous new content as we can manage without going totally insane.
Our next project is bringing us back to something we’ve done in the past and had a great experience with. First and foremost we are a game creation company but our second love will always be comics. Several months ago we introduced you to our 90’s style superhero game and now we’re going to give you a bigger taste of that world with a series of amazing comics based on some of the characters from the rulebook.
I had a chance to work with Ed and John in the development process and it shocked me to see how much background information goes into each and every panel. I needed to learn not only how to tell this kind of story but also how to draw out every detail and nuance for the artist. It was a great experience and I’m looking forward to the continuation of this series. Maybe I’m a bit biased… but I think you’re going to love it.
Keep your eyes open for more information on these comics as we get closer to the release and if you’re paying close attention you may just catch a few new names coming through as well. Due to our busier-than-a fox-in-a-hen-house schedule, Ed has taken on some additional writing help. I’ll be introducing you to these new folks as their work comes up so keep checking back to meet our fresh new faces.
